Original text:In illis diebus coeperunt Franci Agripinam civitatem super Renum vocaveruntque eam Coloniam, quasi coloni inhabitarent in eam. Multo populo Romanorum a parte Egidii illic interfecerunt; ipse Egidius fugiens evasit.
Translation text:In those days the Franks took the city of Agrippina on the Rhine, known as Colonia, as if coloni inhabited it. There they massacred many of the Roman people belonging to Aegidius' faction. Aegidius himself escaped by flight.
