Translation text:The real instigator of this war was Godin. This man had transferred his allegiance from Sigibert to Chilperic, by whom he had been given many gifts. Godin was beaten in battle and he was the first to run away. King Chilperic thereupon took back again the villas which he had granted to Godin from the crown lands in the Soissons area, and gave them instead to the church of Saint Medard
