Original text:Post haec cum Fano-Martinse terreturium baetus pontifex consisterit, et quidam negotians aliquos puerus, ligatis manibus, in itinere duceret venundandus, et baetus pontifex humili prece, ut eos absolverit, supplicasset, nihil obtinuit; postulans divinum auxilium, ut iuberet absolvere vinctos, quem baeti pontifices negotians negavit intentum. Cumque negotiator ad diversorium somno fuit, Deo volente, obpresos, surgentes a somno qui in vinculis tenebantur, baeti pontifices praesentiam in eclesia adfuerunt.
Translation text:[Summary: Bishop Gaugericus while travelling in the territory of Fanum Martis comes across a merchant with slaves in chains destined for sale. He entreats them to be freed to no avail. When the merchant is asleep in his lodging, Gaugericus raises the slaves from their sleep and escorts them to a church].
