Translation text:In the forty-fourth year of Chlothar's reign the bishops and all the great men of his kingdom, Neustrians as well as Burgundians, assembled at Clichy on the king's business and to consider their country's problems. It was there that a certain Ermenarius, comptroller to Charibert, Chlotar's son, was killed by the followers of Aighyna, the Saxon nobleman.
